Let's get started. Flashcards. Now everyone

learns in different ways,

but for me I found flashcards can be very helpful,

especially for learning key terms

so that I could do with repetition.

What I would do is take two to three minutes,

several times a day, and go
00:00
through as many flashcards as I could.

As you do this more,
00:00
you're going to notice the ones you tend
00:00
to have problems with then you can move
00:00
those out to study those and focus on those more.
00:00
But as you go through it more with repetition,
00:00
those terms are going to sink into your head.
00:00
This is going to help you to
00:00
remember those areas of the tests that maybe you
00:00
don't use in your everyday work life or
00:00
that you don't have a lot of expertise in,
00:00
it's going to help you to have those
00:00
terms stick in your head.

The problem that I found when I was studying for

the test is the areas that I had
00:00
no exposure to in my work life had
00:00
less meaning to me and those terms didn't stick as much.

Again, with flashcards,

I was able to help reinforce those.

Now I created a Quizlet deck that is free.

It's attached to this course,

and you can make use of that.

It has all the key terms in that deck from this course.

You can use Quizlet if you're not

familiar with it on your mobile device,

on your computer, it doesn't matter and it's free,

doesn't cost you anything.

You can make use of that deck

and go through there and flash through and then you

can mark the ones that you're having

trouble with so that they can use those more often.

But it's a really good way to help

reinforce those parts that you're not as strong on,

you don't feel as good about,

and to help those terms to sink in.

You can also create your own deck if you like.

Practice questions. You're not going to find

real practice questions that are legitimate from

the test type thing because that's illegal and come

to a really crack down hard on

the people that are doing that type of thing.

But you're going to find questions that are very

similar to give you the feel and

also the right mindset to
00:00
try to find as many of those as you can.

Because while most of

the ones you find are not going to be exact.

When you take the test, you're going to think,

wait a minute, this is not what I studied for.

It is, just take your time,
00:00
read the question carefully

but by going through practice questions,

you're going to get into that right mindset and

to make sure that you understand what is being asked,

what they're really looking for,
00:00
and to make sure that you're
00:00
not falling back and
00:00
focusing on data that's not important to the question.

A lot of times questions will

have a lot of extra information in

there that is not relevant to

the answer and the idea is to try to throw you off.

By doing these practice questions,

you're going to get ready for that type of thing.
