One of the main concerns is security.

Customers need to be sure that their Cloud assets are

secure or even more secure than their data centers.

Gartner predicts that through 2022,

at least 95 percent of

security failures in the Cloud

will be caused by the customer.

Next, let's take a look at some of

the key challenges with regards to the Cloud.

Security in the Cloud poses some challenges.

Nearly two-thirds of organizations see

security as the biggest challenge for Cloud adoption.

Cloud vendors advocate for

a shared responsibility security model.

The Cloud vendor will secure the Cloud equipment but it's

up to the customer to secure the data in the Cloud.

The Cloud vendors main responsibility is to

secure the Cloud infrastructure and to do so

comprehensively with multiple regions

across the globe and with

multiple availability zones and data centers in

addition to physical access and perimeter security.

But ultimately, it's up to each individual customer

to secure the data and assets that they owe in the Cloud.
