Hi. Welcome to module to Databases. This is Lesson 1.7, the Windows edition. There will be one of these for the boot to Lennox operating system as well,

because the installation of this database has a couple of things that makes it a little more complicated

so it wouldn't show to pass of installations on two different operating systems. But with that said, Let's get it started

soaping up your browser of choice. And, as usual, you will need a computer with administrative shooting, administrative access and also Internet access. So go to your browser of choice.

I search my sequel sample database employees,

and let's click the cloner download. We're just gonna download the ZIP file

And on every one of these sequel files and dump files, you need thio, right? Click them and click properties and click Unlock

windows by default on a lot of installations will attempt to protect you from certain files and will automatically block them.

of course, we need to use these files so we will have to unblock them.

And that's something to keep in mind when you're working with various types of program files as well. You could be doing everything right.

And you just forgot to come into the properties and unlock the file.

and you'll need to click on this PC. Go to your C drive or wherever your OS is installed,

go to your program files. You're my sequel folder. This is the place where my singles installed. Don't change the name.

Go into the server folder,

Go into the Ben Folder and paste all those files.

Do this for all current items. Click Continue,

and the reason you have the pastries falls in here is because when you run the install Script

And if they're not in this folder, it will fail. Now it's possible that have you installed the 32 bit version of my sequel that instead of program files, you'll have program files X 86. So if you cannot find my sequel server, Ben and the program files, be sure to check The program falls X 86 as well,

Okay, we've finished the insulation. You can see that it took my system one minute, 46 seconds. Install that so it can take a little bit of time going to click. OK, and go ahead and close this box. Now. If you left click on your databases folder, right click and then click Refresh
