The Understand Libraries module provides you with the instruction and Server hardware to develop your hands on skills in the defined topics. This module includes the following exercises:
- Add Multiple Locations to Libraries
- Understand Networked Locations
Exercise 1 - Add Multiple Locations to Libraries
A library is a system folder provided for user as a location for personal files like Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos. A user can customize and add items in the library for easy access to his personal and even work files.
In this exercise you will perform the tasks to add locations to libraries for easier access to personal files.
Exercise 2 - Understand Networked Locations
A Windows computer makes use of network location to adjust its security settings whenever it connects to a different network.
For Windows workstations that are members of a domain, it uses the domain network location which is considered secure. For computers that are not members of a domain, it can use either Private or Guest/Public network locations.
