Introduction

- Manage Disk Quotas
Exercise 1 - Manage Disk Quotas
Windows operating systems support disk quota for volumes formatted with New Technology File System or NTFS. You can use disk quotas to monitor and limit disk space utilization.
Disk quotas are monitored on a per-user or per-volume basis and users are charged based on the files they own. Quotas are tracked independently for different volumes even if the volumes are separate partitions on the same physical disk. However, if you have shared folders on a volume, all of the shared folders collectively account for the specified quota. Users’ utilization of all shared folders put together cannot exceed their assigned quota.
In this exercise, you will manage disk quotas for users on a system.
