The Deploy and Configure DNS Service module provides you with the instruction and server hardware to develop your hands on skills in the defined topics. This module includes the following exercises:
- Configure AD Integration of Primary DNS Zones
- Configure Forwarders
- Create Resource Records
Exercise 1 - Configure AD Integration of Primary DNS Zones
Domain Name System or DNS is hierarchical name resolution service normally associated with the Internet. Private networks or intranets can deploy this name resolution service to translate hostnames to numerical IP addresses or vice-versa. With this name resolution service, users can find servers or other computers in a TCP/IP network and be able to connect to network services.
In this exercise, you will perform the tasks required to deploy and configure DNS service.
Exercise 2 - Configure Forwarders
This exercise will take you through the completing procedure for configuring DNS forwarders.
Exercise 3 - Create Resource Records
This task will take you through the completing procedure for creating resource records.
