Description

The Cisco Test is intended for students at the intermediate level. Having a foundation of knowledge in areas related to IP addressing, routing protocols, and network architecture concepts such as components and topology is helpful when taking the exam. With this skill set, you will see that the 20-minute timeframe to complete the exam is reasonable. As you continue to progress through the lab, you will also develop an understanding of the shared network routing protocols and their interaction with network communications. Students will develop skill configuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting LAN components such as routers and switches. These skills are essential for the Network Operations Specialist, Security Architect, Target Developer, Target Network Analyst, and the Exploration Analyst. The test will also ensure students have skill executing the OS command line, which is essential for the Network Operations Specialist and Cisco Security Engineer work roles.
