CISCO Routing (Field Engineers)
The Cisco Routing Test for field engineers is a premium Cybrary assessment created by iMocha. The exam is designed to verify the networking skills of a CISCO Routing Field Engineer with a primary focus on topics related to Cisco’s Security Suite and Router, Cisco StackWise Technology, and Frame Relay Circuit HSRP Load Sharing.
The Cisco Routing Test is a 20-minute exam intended for students at the intermediate level. To pass the exam, having skill troubleshooting network hardware and software using a remote command line and Graphic User Interface (GUI) tools is helpful. Students that have this ability will find that the time frame to complete the exam is reasonable. Completing the lab will ensure students have skill auditing and logging procedures, using Virtual Private Network (VPN) devices and encryption, and understand system hardening techniques such as enable logging and network segmentation. These skills are essential for the Cyber Operator, Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist, and Security Architect. The test will also ensure students have knowledge of network designs and processes and can troubleshoot failed system components. These skills are essential for the System Administrator, Enterprise Architect, and CISCO Routing Engineer work roles. This lab is useful for students on the Network Engineer, and 50 CISO Security Controls career paths.
