Description
The Cisco IOS Test is a 20-minute exam intended for students at the intermediate level. While working through the lab, students will develop skills as they relate to Industry Standards on topics covering Cisco’s IOS Image, Switches, and CLI Configuration as well as Cisco Unified Communication Manager and Call Manager Express. To pass the exam, students familiar with system administration concepts for Unix and Windows operating systems and knowledge of various attack methods and techniques will benefit from taking the exam and find it helpful. By having this knowledge, you will find that the 20-minute timeframe to complete the exam is reasonable. By completing the lab will help students develop skills interpreting read/write scripts on Unix systems and recognize types of vulnerabilities and their associated attacks. These skills are essential for the Cyber Operator, Vulnerability Assessment Analyst, Cyber Defense Incident Responder, and Security Control Assessor work roles. The test will also ensure students can interpret malicious network traffic activity and recognize technical information such as the IP ranges of the target. These skills are essential for the Exploitation Analyst, Cisco IOS Developer, Microsoft Systems Engineer work roles. This lab is beneficial for students on the Cyber Defense Incident Responder, Vulnerability Assessment Analyst, and Exploitation Analyst career paths.
