We're going to start off by

talking about IAM users and groups.

This is really like an organizational tool or

practice that we use

and this is offered within the service,

but if you've been using identity and access management,

then you probably know that you can

use users and groups and

other flavors doesn't have to necessarily be AWS's IAM,

it can be Azure, it can be Microsoft Active Directory.

They all have a similar idea and it allows us

to basically handle users

and the permissions and how we group it.

That leads us on to number 2 here,

which is IAM policies.

Policies are the rules that we allow or

disallow for users and for services, and for roles.

We'll talk all about that there.

For section number 3,

we're going to talk about MFA and how to set that up,

which is really important to do in

the cloud being that it is open to the Internet.

You want to make sure that you have all your security

in place for access control,

and so MFA is very important.

Number 4 is going to be access keys,

command-line interface, and

software development keys or SDKs.

We're going to be talking about IAM roles.
