MITRE ATT&CK Defender (MAD) is an annual subscription to unlimited ATT&CK certifications and bite-size online training for cybersecurity practitioners. MAD content is produced by MITRE's own ATT&CK subject matter experts to forge a new breed of advantaged defenders better prepared than ever to stop agile adversaries.
A learner is tested through experimental examinations requiring the demonstration of real-world skills blended with just-in-time recertification to affirm current ATT&CK proficiency. MAD's new releases are in sync with updates to the framework and unique to the industry, provides access to the online training free to the public.

Learners can access the suite of free online training at zero cost. If you would like to sign up for the MAD Annual Subscription, you will get unlimited access for 12 months to a practical certification platform which will allow you prove your skills and earn new MAD Certifications built and backed by the MITRE ATT&CK experts.
No, currently the partnership with Cybrary gives free access to the MAD training but the certification ecosystem is a separate subscription available for purchase. Notify me when certifications are available.
