Introduction to Fault Tolerance This lesson covers fault tolerance. In this lesson, participants learn about fault tolerance requirements and limitations as well as how to describe fault tolerance operations. Fault tolerance is a backup virtual machine (VM) that can take over with no downtime in the event of a system failure and allows for zero data loss. It can be used in conjunction with DRS when enhanced vMotion capability (EVC) is enabled.
