Description
VLAN Trunking Protocol VLAN Trunking Protocol has nothing to do with bringing up a trunk.  Instead we explain the process by which VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) carries VLAN information to all the switches in a VLAN Trunking Protocol domain. We’ll provide some general description of how it works and then explain in more details the functions it performs.  We’ll introduce you to each of its three modes: Server Mode, Client Mode and Transparent Mode.
