It will take approximately 1 hour to complete this lab.
Exercise 1 - Create a Self-signed Certificate
A certificate is a method for securing a communication between users and a Web server. If a certificate, which can be SSL or TLS certificate, encrypts the communication during transmission. If a certificate is not used, the information over the Internet travels in the clear-text format and can be intercepted easily. SSL is now obsolete and has been replaced by TLS.
In this exercise, you will learn to create a self-signed certificate.
