Perform Security Administration Tasks

Introduction

The Perform Security Administration Tasks module provides you with the instructions and devices to develop your hands on skills in the following topics:

• Find files with the suid/sgid bit set
• Manage user passwords and password-aging information
• List the users logged into the system
• Use the su command
• Use the sudo command
• Manage shell resources
• Discover open ports on a system

Lab time: It will take approximately 1 hour to complete this lab.
