All right, So we're gonna go ahead and get started, and, uh, this particular class is gonna focus on Mr 800-1 71. So that's the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and they've released a special publication, 800-171

And essentially, what this is gonna be about is protecting controlled but unclassified information in non federal government systems.

So we're gonna talk about a little bit about what that is and what that means. And then we're gonna jump right into the body of the publication and talk about the 14 families of security controls. And then, of course, we'll do a quick review and wrap up, and that will conclude the class.
