Let's start out with the requirements for the first lap
in this lab, you'll be installing the view sphere client on your local workstation.
So in order to do that,
you're going to need administrative privileges
on that machine. But also gonna need the SX I host name or its i p address.
In addition to that, we need the root password because, of course, we have to
log into the host with the client. All right, First of all, will you open up a web browser
and you need to point that to your S X I host
or the the domain name if it's already configured on your domain.
So in my case, it's 1 90 to 1 68 1 68 100
You will see a certificate warning.
Don't be alarmed by this.
This is because the certificate of self signed and your browser doesn't know about this
certificate authority that is basically private behind your security perimeter.

Now we get to the front door. So to speak of rsx, I host
we could do a lot of things here. First, we'll start with downloading the V Sphere client.
So I'm gonna go ahead and save that. That should go to my Downloads folder.
And this is gonna take awhile. Three minutes, 27 seconds.
