In this video, we'll configure I scuzzy and NFS to have access to shared storage that we will need later on. In the course.

To create a software ice cosy, click on an yes excite house, then choose configure and then storage adapters.

To do so, head on to the data store town,

then create a new data story.

The default block size in B. M. F s six is one megabyte. It is not configurable, but it will expand automatically to 512 megabytes if you are storing large files.
Space reclamation is a big future off GM Oppa's six,
and it will attempt to reclaim unused blocks when data is deleted from inside against operating system of the virtual machine. So leave everything to the default and click. Next,
review the summary and hit finish.
It will take a few seconds,
and then your new shared data store will appear in the inventory.
If you click on it, you can see information about capacity and used space, et cetera.
No, let's create an an F s data store.
Head onto the data store tab, right, click the data center, object and choose new data store.
This time in the data store type select NFS,
there are two versions.
Version 4.1 is the most recent and most secure,
but version three is still widely used in the sphere because it supports storage. DRS. Among other advanced features that are not yet available with version for that one.
So select treasure three and hit. Next.
I'm gonna name the data store NFS Dash Data Store.
Next, specify the path to the shared partition on the NFS server. In my case, it's forward slash NFs
then enter the I P address off the NFS server

Next select the SX I hosts that will mount this data store.
In our case, we want both ears Excite hosts to have access to this state of store. So select both
