Hi, everyone. Welcome back to the core. So in the last video, we just ran our first and met command again. We run a sin scan there. We took a look at our output.
00:08
Now, in this video, we're just gonna run a full connect scan or a full connects. Can you excuse me? A full, full open scan is it's also called on. Basically, we're not. We're gonna be establishing a full TCP three way handshake in this particular scan.
00:22
So
00:23
what I want to do in the background and I've left open my Kelly
00:27
machine there. I've left open this lab, as you should do the same thing that we don't have to re log in and go through the whole process again of enabling Apache Web service is
00:36
So we're just gonna run this committee scan and see what kind of output we get back. Now, this one take might take a little longer simply because we are establishing that full TCP three way handshake.
00:46
Let's go ahead, type it and we're gonna type in and map dash, lower case S t. And then our i p address there. But first things first on my end. I'm gonna go ahead and clear up my screen here, so it's a little easier to see things. So just typing the word clear and then press enter. And that will clear up your terminal window there.
01:03
Now, you don't have to do that, but I like to just start with a clean thing every time.
01:07
And so our command here as I mentioned, it's gonna be retyping an end map dash lower case s Capital T. And then our i p address.
01:15
So we're gonna take that in now. So in map
01:18
space, dash War case s Capital T and then space and their i p address, which again is 1 92.168 dot 0.1 and then just press enter on your keyboard. I'm gonna go ahead policy video there. It's gonna take a moment. So to run the scan and we'll pick things back up once it's complete.
01:34
All right. So our skin has completed now, so we see some information in the background there. So question number one, what were the results? Well, let's take a look here. So I see that similar to the previous scan. I did. I have a bunch of port numbers here. It's showing me that, Hey, they're open. And then it showed me what type of service if it could tell. It's telling me what type of type of service that's running on there, for example, like
01:55
our https, our secure Web browsing,
01:57
and for 43
02:00
All right, so this video just ran a quick on my skin again. We're just gonna continue moving on with different commands in this particular lab, and each of these is gonna be a bite sized chunk for you to digest.
