everyone welcome back to the course. So in the last lap, we went ahead and ran a couple of mm commands as well as one age paying three command regarding open port. So we were just taking a look to see if any ports were responding to us. And if they were open on the system
00:14
in this set of labs, we're gonna go ahead and take a look at some more scanning. So we're gonna run end map. We're going to things like the Christmas scan, the sin flag scan, et cetera. We're also gonna run a couple of games with HP in three.
00:26
Now, the way I've broken this up in every single part of this lab is gonna be a separate video. So some of these videos may only be a minute or so in length.
00:35
They might be pretty short, depending on the command we're running, but I want to kind of break him up. So it'll be a lot of little bite sized chunks in this particular module. But these air all commands that you'll want to know how to do specifically for any certification exams, but mostly for actually doing this stuff in real life.
00:51
So let's go ahead and get started. So you should already be locked into the cyber website to be able to watch this. If you're watching this on some super secret hacking forum underground, the bio means make sure you log in a cyber excites you can actually follow along with the lab.
01:03
All right, so we're just gonna search for ethical hacker here in our search box, And we're gonna be using the same lab environment for this lab that we've been using the past couple of labs here. So the certified ethical hacker C E H one, we just click on that and then click on the launch button,
01:18
and that is gonna open up the screen here. We're just gonna let this launch item button and it'll actually launch that lab environment for us.
01:25
So once that launches up for us, we're gonna select the third option down. What's is the implementing scanning techniques, lab environment. So let's go ahead and do that. So this one right here
01:34
and then just click on the start button there, and once it does, that will see our virtual machines on the right side. Here.
01:40
Now what? We're gonna do is turn all the zone. So the way we do that, we discover our mouths overtop select the power on option.
01:47
And I might take a moment or so for these to boot up. I'm gonna go ahead and pause. The video will use the magic of fast forwarding to let these boot up, and then we'll take a look at them.
01:57
All right. So, as you can see, all of our virtual machines have the show and green now, so green means go that we're good to go there. So the next step in our lap here
02:06
is right here at step number six is where we're at word of select the P lab essays. You're a one machine, which is actually the very top option. There were basically going to enable the Apache web service so we can continue on with the rest of our lab. So just go ahead and click on the name there. That'll pull that up for us. You should see a server management window pop up for us here,
02:24
and we're just gonna go ahead and close that out once it pops up. We don't worry about any of that stuff for this particular lab.
02:30
And then all we're gonna do is select this little orange icon at the bottom. The exam pike on here. Just go and click on that.
02:36
It's gonna take a member of soda pop up for us here.
02:39
And what that's gonna do is enable the Apache Web service is And then the last thing we're just gonna do just cause I found that if we don't do it when they get an air message in the lab, just click the little start option for all these bottom three options here. Now, it's not gonna actually start everything, for example, with the Tomcat. But we just want to start those up. And now we're good to go.
03:00
All right. So here in the server manager window, we've gone ahead, and we've launched the example. Icon, we went ahead and enable the Apache Web service. Now we're gonna do here is just type. We're gonna launch the command prompt. Happen. I p config. Just so we can answer question number one, which is what C i p address of this server machine right here.
03:21
So if you're not familiar with windows, which most people are, But if you're not familiar with how to launch command prompt. Just go ahead and right click in this particular Windows OS. Go ahead and right click,
03:30
and then you can either click on command prompt admin, or you can search, you know, or run for the command prompt. I'm just gonna make it easier on what this type will select the command prompt admin. So here all we're typing in is I p config and then pressing Enter on the keyboard here. So again, question number one was What's the I P address?
03:49
So we see it here. The 102
03:52
0.168 dot zero
03:57
or the syphilis go back to our lab document.
04:00
So we're gonna do part two in the separate video. So, as I mentioned, we're going to kind of break all these down into vory bite size chunks here. So you see, this one was right around four minutes or so on this next one shouldn't be too long of a video. So let's go ahead and stop the video here. We'll pick things back up with our first and map scan
