Course Description

In APT Group Fundamentals, Gerrianne Roberts discusses the threats from Advanced Persistent Groups and how it is different from the usual threat vectors. An APT group can range from hacktivists to state sponsored groups who may be financially or politically motivated. An APT group uses a combination of multiple techniques including phishing, malwares, and social engineering to carry out their attacks. This course will prepare organizations to understand the APT groups and how they can prevent themselves against attack. These attacks in general are very sophisticated and diversified, and do not follow the usual attack patterns.
