Introduction

The Manage vCloud Organisations module provides you with the instruction and server hardware to develop your hands on skills in the defined topics. This module includes the following exercises:

Exercise 1 - Creating vCloud Organisations

In this exercise, you will learn the following in vCloud:

• Create an organization

Exercise 2 - Configure vCloud Organisation Settings

In this exercise, you will learn the following in vCloud:

• Identify the URL name of the newly created Organization
• Identify local SMTP server
• Create an Organization
• Configure VM lease times
• Configure Storage lease times
• Setup SMTP server information
• Setup notification settings

Exercise 3 - Managing vCloud Organisations

In this exercise, you will learn the following in vCloud:

• Manage Organizations
• Identify Allocation models
• Edit leases, quotas, and limits that would be applied to organizations
• Revise catalog(s) and their permissions that are attached to the Org
• Add/Remove users and groups
