Exercise 1 - Enable Folder Redirection
Folder redirection is a feature that will automatically back up selected Windows folders like AppData (Roaming), Desktop, Start Menu, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, Favorites, Contacts, Downloads, Links, Searches and Saved Games to a shared folder. Folder redirection is supported only on Group Policy Objects created in an Active Directory domain. This means that domain controller(s) must be present to create a GPO that will redirect folders listed earlier to a centralized folder repository. The centralized folder is typically found on domain-joined Windows Server computer.
In this exercise, you will configure Folder Redirection of Documents folder from a Windows 10 workstation to a designated Windows server computer.
