Exercise 1 - Manage Reference Markers
Footnotes appear on every page where a note is marked, below a separator line but above the footer area. Endnotes appear at the end of the document, after a separator line.
After you've added a note, you can view the note text by holding the mouse pointer over the reference mark.
By default, footnotes use Arabic numerals and endnotes use roman numerals, but you can instead use letters, traditional symbols like asterisks and daggers, or define custom symbols using characters from any installed font. Numbering (or lettering) can be continuous or restart for each page or section. You can also change the text style of notes. You can convert footnotes to endnotes or vice versa, or swap all footnotes and endnotes.
