hi...I'm facing below error when I run for wireless command sudo airodump-ng --ivs wlan0. ~$ sudo airodump-ng --ivs wlan0 ioctl(SIOCSIWMODE) failed: Device or resource busy ARP linktype is set to 1 (Ethernet) - expected ARPHRD\_IEEE80211, ARPHRD\_IEEE80211\_FULL or ARPHRD\_IEEE80211\_PRISM instead. Make sure RFMON is enabled: run 'airmon-ng start wlan0 ' Sysfs injection support was not found either. vinay@vin:~$ sudo airodump-ng --ivs wlan0 ioctl(SIOCSIWMODE) failed: Device or resource busy ARP linktype is set to 1 (Ethernet) - expected ARPHRD\_IEEE80211, ARPHRD\_IEEE80211\_FULL or ARPHRD\_IEEE80211\_PRISM instead. Make sure RFMON is enabled: run 'airmon-ng start wlan0 ' Sysfs injection support was not found either. If any1 know....plz..share...thanks... Your wireless is in managed mode ... sudo ifconfig wlan0 down sudo ifconfig wlan0 up airmon-ng start wlan0 should return something like "monitor mode vif enabled bla bla bla **wlan0mon**". Use wlan0mon for further sniffing and scraping.
