College Park, MD - April 15, 2019 - The Cybersecurity Forum Initiative (CSFI), a non-profit providing cyber warfare awareness, guidance, and security solutions through collaboration, education, volunteer work, and training, today announced a new strategic alliance with Cybrary, the leading free, online crowdsourced cybersecurity and IT career development platform. The relationship was established in an effort to bring a full spectrum of cyber and IT training services to CSFI’s community of over 100,000 cybersecurity and cyber warfare professionals from the government, military, private sector, and academia.
“Virtualized training represents the future of cybersecurity professional development,” says Paul de Souza, CSFI Founder and President. “CSFI is proud to have Cybrary as a critical partner in support of our mission to expand the number of trainings and courses available to our member base. Cybrary’s career development platform provides vital operational support through their services.”
Since launching in 2015, Cybrary has become the largest online cybersecurity platform with more than 2 million users from around the globe and thousands more joining every day. Cybrary has delivered more than 500 million minutes of free cybersecurity training on over 2,500 topics that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time, by anyone.
This relationship will provide CSFI members the ability to take advantage of the many virtual courses available on the Cybrary platform. CSFI members will receive special pricing of Insider Pro memberships, which provide unlimited course material, practice labs, capture-the-flag assessments, professional mentors, and access to an online community. CSFI members will have access to the industry’s top subject matter experts, in addition to a large base of practitioners, and recruiters who will help guide their careers to the next level.
“We’re thrilled to partner with CSFI to ensure that our cyber warfighters have the tools and skills they need to enhance their cyber and IT careers for years to come,” says Ralph Sita, CEO and co-founder of Cybrary. “The community of people and companies using Cybrary is revolutionizing the cyber talent development lifecycle and we are excited to welcome CSFI into this ever expanding community.”
