By : Christine SchaeferNotice anything new?At ThreatConnect, our philosophy since our founding has been that we would incorporate intelligence in all aspects of security operations including orchestration and workflow, as functionality within our Platform. We believe (and always have) that an intelligence-led defense benefits organizations and allows better predictive and proactive strategic decision-making.That said, like most, we are a work in progress. This year, we felt it was time to update our look, mature, and expand. So we decided a redefine was in order. We have streamlined our Platform, our logo, and our brand. We use the term: redefine; not refresh or even rebrand. And maybe we’re being a bit semantical, but like I said, this is not about something new. This is about a recognition of the Platform in its next iteration. If you remember, in 2017 – two years ago – we launched TC Complete™️, our advanced intelligence-driven security operations and analytics platform. In TC Complete we introduced automation and orchestration using Playbooks. Then we brought out ThreatConnect’s CAL™️ (Collective Analytics Layer), then the ROI calculator, numerous apps and integrations, and well, you get where I am going. We have long since expanded from serving largely the TI team to being used by security operations, incident response, and security leadership. As always, we will continuously launch additional features and functionality that further our vision to be THE platform for security and bring you expanded value. Expect to see us take more strides in doubling down on supporting creation of good intel, making it operational across the team, and helping leaders manage the business of security. This brand redefine reflects all of that!Without going into a lot of detail, the brand redefine was a complicated and overwhelming process as one might expect. And, well, it involved a lot of internal rounds of approvals (read: personal opinions), a lot of imbibing (not sure I was supposed to admit that), and much discussion. Iterations. Iterations. Iterations.Ok, so maybe that was a lot of detail. Either way, you get it. It was arduous. But we prevailed. The result is a new mark and look that we feel conveys a theme of motion and convergence. The new logo shows motion through its curve, and you’ll also see motion in the flow of the background illustrations on the website. Take a look. Movement is conveyed through the illustration and color gradient as well; a sense of momentum. We see this as a call to action — bringing an end to the old, inefficient way of doing things and taking a major stand for change. It is a rebellion against the status quo and yet, about the formation of a community. We hope it speaks to our Platform – dynamic and powerful. In short, we went from this:To this:
