Risk Profile
In this course, you will be introduced to risk profiles. You will learn how to define a risk profile, build an organizational risk profile, use the risk profile for decision-making, as well as how to report risk posture.

Course Content
Upon completing this course, you should be able to:
- Define the purpose and structure of an organizational risk profile and explain how it supports consistent leadership decision-making
- Differentiate risk appetite, risk tolerance, and risk thresholds, and apply them to guide escalation and approval decisions
- Identify the core risk categories and domains that should be represented in a comprehensive enterprise risk profile
- Build a risk profile using standardized evaluation criteria, cross-functional collaboration, and formal documentation and approval processes
- Use the risk profile to drive business decisions, including budgeting, control selection, vendor strategy, and enablement versus protection trade-offs
- Monitor and update risk posture using triggers, review cycles, KRIs, governance committees, and audit-ready documentation practices
- Communicate risk posture effectively through dashboards, trend reporting, narrative context, and integrated compliance and audit reporting
