This course is designed with avid email end-users in mind, and serves as the ideal starting point for anyone looking to enter the cyber security field and ultimately raise their threat awareness. What will I learn? How to recognize malicious emails, the biggest dangers when using email and email best practices.

In an enterprise environment, email usage is second nature. Because of this, email security is often overlooked. Hackers use that to their advantage through phishing and other techniques, whereby many employees have unintentionally opened themselves or their organization up to vulnerabilities. This course is designed with avid email end-users in mind and serves as the ideal starting point for anyone looking to enter the cyber security field and ultimately raise their threat awareness. With a focus on email addresses, emails, links and attachments, you will realize which pieces of information are personally identifiable and can be used against you. Most importantly, you will learn how to recognize malicious emails, the two biggest dangers when using email, and gain email best practices to help you better follow company policy.
