About Kane Tomlin

I am a retired Army Master Diver, and a current consultant with the state of Florida. I also teach Applied Cybersecurity and National Security to undergraduates at two different colleges. I have over 20 years’ experience in project management, information technology, and security. I enjoy teaching and mentoring in all the various forms my various professions allow. I have a BS in Management Information Systems, a MS in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and a Doctorate in Strategic Security. I also have post-graduate certificates in Leadership Development and Project Management. I am a Project Management Professional and a member of Tallahassee’s PMI Board of Directors.

In my free time, I like to work around my house, play with my dogs, and make cars fast! My dream is to one day build a replica of a 1967 Shelby Cobra 427 from the frame up, but for now I’ll have to get my kids through college first. I am also a Black Belt in Judo and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
