I’m a security administrator with a passion for all things technology. I fell in love with technology when I was 14 years old and I haven’t looked back since. My career started early after being recruited for a network engineer role my senior year of highschool. I spent the early years of my career as a network engineer, but over the past several years have transitioned into a cybersecurity role focusing more on blue teaming and ethical hacking. Attending the hacking conference Def Con back in 2014 really sparked my interest into hacking and changed my focus. Aside from technology, I enjoy teaching, writing, and helping others. Although most of my roles have been Windows based, I personally prefer to work in Linux. I run the website coffeecomputersandcats.com where I blog about various tech related topics. My certifications include CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, SonicWALL CSSA, and SonicWALL CSSP. In my free time I like to play around with cool tech gadgets like Raspberry Pis or Wi-Fi Pineapples.
