Upon completing this lab, you will be able to:

  • Define "Cyber Threat Intelligence" and describe its value to defensive security operations.
  • Define the concept of an observable and list common types associated with network activity.
  • Identify the potential value of observables to defensive security operations, and the common formats and methods through which they are provided.
  • Research IP addresses and domain names in open source threat intelligence and annotate findings.
