  • Define an ISMS and its role in securing organizational information under ISO/IEC 27001
  • Describe the scope and applicability of ISO/IEC 27001, including alignment with ISO 27002 and certification requirements
  • Identify and explain the ISO core clauses and risk management steps, including risk treatment and the Statement of Applicability
  • Differentiate key documentation needs, such as audit records, SoA, and risk treatment plans
  • Summarize ISO/IEC 27001 audit phases and certification lifecycle, including internal, surveillance, and recertification audits
  • Identify best practices for maintaining compliance, including continual improvement, leadership involvement, and business integration
