Examining Web Browser Usage
In this hands-on lab, you will learn about web browsers as a source of evidence in the context of a forensic investigation. You will practice examining traces of actions involving the usage of web browsers and associated web browser activity on Windows.

Course Content
Upon completing this lab, learners should be able to:
- Identify the location of browser history, cookies and cache for Firefox, Chrome and Edge web browsers.
- Use multiple tools to parse and view web history data from Firefox and Chrome.
- Use SQL statements to query browser history contained in SQLite databases.
- Identify the date and time of specific web browsing events of interest, and associate those events to a local user account.
