Amazon API Gateway enables developers to create, publish, and secure APIs that connect applications with backend services such as AWS Lambda. Configuring these services together provides a scalable way to expose serverless functionality while controlling access to API resources.

In this advanced-level AWS Lambda training lab, you'll create a REST API using Amazon API Gateway and integrate it with an AWS Lambda function. You'll define a route and HTTP GET request, configure the Lambda integration, and add an API key to help prevent unauthorized access to the endpoint.
