AZ-305: Case Studies
In this AZ-305 course you will use case studies to determine the best solution for a given scenario.
Course Content
The course is focused on how to design a solution using one or more Azure services. Each module will have a design exercise focused on the technology discussed in the module. The last module of this course will have an exercise on designing a solution that includes multiple technologies in Azure which will help students practice design solutions similar to the exam.
Who should take this course?
Learners for this course already have extensive knowledge and solid experience in Azure cloud services, which includes virtualization, identity, security, data and application platforms.
What are the prerequisites for this course?
This is an advanced-level course. Learners must have previous experience in deploying and managing infrastructure in Azure. They should know:
- Azure Active Directory
- Azure Virtual Machines, Containers, and managed solutions
- Azure virtual network and load balancers
- Azure Storage Solutions
- Application Design
- Basic understanding of backup and high availability

Your instructor, Seema Rahman, currently works as a principal architect for Zodela Technologies, a company she founded in 2017 to provide top-level expertise in Microsoft cloud services and enterprise solutions. Her primary focus is Azure and Microsoft 365. Prior to Zodela Technologies, Seema spent 15+ years at Microsoft in various roles, such as senior escalation engineer, working with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Office 365, and Microsoft Exchange. She has a Master's of Science in computer engineering from the University of Central Florida.
