Students will learn Class A, B & C addresses, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, International organizations (their regulations and authorization on IP addressing), Subnetting, Mac addresses, Mac address categories, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name Service (DNS) and network troubleshooting tools (Telnet, Ping, traceroute, etc.).

Students will learn easily using flash cards (which aid easy remembrance) and preparation for the ICND1 exam. Concepts such as 802.11 (Wireless), 802.3 (Ethernet), Virtual LANs, Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP), Secure Copy Protocol (SCP), Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), Network Address Translation (NAT), Administrative Distance (AD), star, mesh and hybrid topologies can be easily remembered.
