Sarah Spotten is a Cyber Incident Response Analyst for the SOC at the Department of Homeland Security. She also has a proven background in technical training for the Department of Defense; she has trained hundreds of cyber professionals in the armed forces across three branches of service as the cyber threat and incident response training lead. She has been an instructor with the Defense Cyber Crime Center, Cyber Training Academy since 2018. Her focus is on host and network analysis. She was active duty in the US Navy for 10 years and currently serves in the Navy Reserves as a Cyber Analyst. At Cybrary, Sarah is recognized as one of the training architects for cyber defense and content and course development. She is a certified technical trainer.
