Introduction:

The Practice Labs CompTIA CASP+ practice lab is a premium Cybrary lab intended for students at the intermediate level. This practice lab provides students with hands-on experience to prepare for the CompTIA CASP+ certification exam. These tasks will help students learn to connect remotely, configure and firewall rules, configure DNSSEC, manage compliance patching, and more. This is important to the work role(s) of Cyber Defense Analyst, Cyber Ops Planner, Security Analyst, and Security Architect. Upon completion of this lab, the student will have prepared for practical aspects of the CompTIA CASP+ certification exam. The Practice Labs CompTIA CASP+ practice lab consists of 32 individual labs. Each individual lab will take around an hour to complete, with some taking more or less, for a total of about 32 hours to complete all preparation labs.

Skill/Activity Breakdown

The Practice Labs CompTIA CASP+ practice lab requires students to complete a series of lab exercises. Some of the skills developed include remote connectivity, digital forensics, SCCM, load balancing, rule-based firewall management, port security, vulnerability assessment and remediation, network traffic analysis, and PKI. Completing all of the labs in the Practice Labs CompTIA CASP+ practice lab will develop a large variety of skills that are important to a variety of roles in cybersecurity.
