Introduction:

The Cyber Security Test is a premium Cybrary assessment intended for students at the intermediate level. This assessment helps students evaluate their knowledge of the Cyber Security platform. The Cyber Security Test is targeted at verifying basic understanding of Cyber Security, including Data Construction, WPA2 Authentication, ARP Spoofing, and System Logs. Developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities evaluated by the Cyber Security Test will ensure students have skill in recognizing and categorizing types of vulnerabilities and associated attacks, can detect host and network-based intrusions via intrusion detection technologies, and understand the OSI model and underlying network protocols. The level of understanding needed for the Cyber Security Test will also help students work toward skill in performing packet-level analysis. These components are important to the work role(s) of Cyber Defense Analyst, Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist, and IT Program Auditor. Upon completion of this lab, the student will be able to identify potential weak areas of knowledge related to Cyber Security. This assessment can be helpful in preparing for job interviews for positions related to Cyber Security and/or Cyber Security certification exams.
