CyberScore “Data Backup and Recovery” Lab is a premium lab aimed at restoring services to a host environment after an incident has occurred. The lab focuses on the recovery phase and a backup must be performed on the server. It is intended for Intermediate Level Students. The CyberScore “Data Backup and Recovery” Lab will also review system-specific recovery processes that will restore the system to original operating parameters. The environment being restored is a Windows 2008 Server.
Upon successful completion of the CyberScore “Data Backup and Recovery” the student will gain a better understanding of how to:
- Conduct a backup in a virtual server
- And learn the importance of backing up the server
The CyberScore “Data Backup and Recovery” will take approximately 1 hour to complete for most students, enabling them to gain a better understanding of how to back-up a system in case the production drive becomes part of a cyber incident.
In CyberScore “Data Backup and Recovery” Lab this is a key skill as part of the Cyber Defense Incident Responder and will enable the student to be able to respond in a timely manner to an incident, be able to resolve it and be involved in business continuity and recovery options.
