How To Do It Legally

I am interested in learning Web Pentesting further, but I am also interested in doing it in real life for real clients. It would be mostly for bloggers and low level online businesses (photographers, artists, etc). I know I need their permission in form of a signed contract, but since their websites are hosted on servers that are owned by others (like bluehost, hostgator) do I need to contact those companies as well or just get permission from the site owner themselves? Thanks. A lot of hosting companies have policies relating to pentesting their assets, so try googling that. Another avenue to get better, get paid and do it legally is to look at Bug Bounty programs. Check out Bugcrowd and HackerOne to help you get started. Ok, thanks.
