C# Or C++

for cyber security I'm majoring in would you take C# or C++ for a language I've worked Python but this is what the college has to offer for what purpose you would like to learn programming language? I would consider C and Assembler - it helps in various reverse engineering tasks. But maybe you would like to make some tools for Windows OS? Then choose C#. Anyway,to my opinion I would choose C++. C# is M$ product. Of course, Linux has Mono, but it is attempt to port .Net to Linux, not the official support from MS. If you considering carier in cybersecurity field, you will have to learn Linux, and on Linux main language is C. Thanks Simas J those two language's are available In the degree program so thanks again
