Information Technology is essential to every industry that exists in today's era. In itself, IT is a vast domain that needs to be incorporated with the associated industry in a very diligent manner. An important term that comes into play after successful incorporation is "IT Governance." It makes sure that the IT Departments are ready for any challenges thrown their way so that the industry or the organization they are associated with can focus on moving forward without any distractions. IT Governance, along with Management, can enable an IT Department to operate at the best of its capacity so that the industry's goals or the organization can be attained efficiently. There are different IT Governance frameworks, models, and standards that ensure that Information & Communication Technology (ICT) activities align with its business objectives. One such Framework is COBIT (Control Objectives for Information & Related Technology). It is internationally recognized and helps organizations meet their objectives and goals through the embodiment of ICT. COBIT's latest iteration is COBIT 2019, which stands on the foundation of COBIT 5. To validate your knowledge of COBIT Framework, COBIT 2019 Certification exam is offered by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), which will serve as a launchpad for roles in IT and GRC Governance. A great course, offered on Cybrary by the Instructor Shaila Rana, helps you prepare well for the COBIT 2019 Certification Exam.
