Originally from rural North Carolina, Jim now lives in the Austin, TX area with his family., Over the last 20 years, Jim has worked within the security, identity, cloud, endpoint, infrastructure, user experience, organizational strategy, GRC (Governance, Risk management, Compliance), and training aspects of IT. He is currently heavily involved in the state and local government, Microsoft, and cyber security communities.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family and friends. You can typically find him enjoying one of the many beautiful Texas state parks, eating fantastic smoked BBQ in the Austin area, experiencing a new food trailer or bar, or relaxing at home.
