Description
Windows XP, Windows Vista & Windows 7 Specific Settings In this last lesson on Control Panel we discuss specific settings that are unique to each operating system. For example, Windows XP has an add/remove Programs utility, that function and naming convention is different in the Windows Vista and Windows 7 editions and you’ll learn how. We’ll contrast the Windows Vista which has an array of Control Panel Options unique only to that edition such as Tablet PC Setting and Offline Files, Problem report & Solutions, and Printers with Windows 7 which introduces the concept of Home Groups, the Action Center and Remote Application & Desktop Configuration feature. The most important new addition is the Troubleshooting function which will enable a higher level of troubleshooting and problem resolution at the user level.  You gain a number of insights for mastering this tool. Once completed, you’ll what each of these features provide, how they work, how to enable/configure them.
