Topologies: MESH & RING

MESH & RING

As we mentioned earlier, topologies are concerned with how computers are arranged and how they are able to communicate with each other.

You’ll learn what a node is, and we’re diagram the mesh network to demonstrate how computers on this topology can communicate directly with each other, BUT you’ll also learn how this differs between a full and a partially meshed network and why.

When we get to the RING network, you’ll learn the dynamics of computers communicating thru a loop, what a token is, and what happens when a connection in the loop is compromised and what some other disadvantages are that exist within a Token Ring network.
