Thick Net Client & Thin Net Client

FacebookTwitterGoogle+LinkedInEmail
Description
It is important to understand the difference between these two types of clients. A thick client runs the operating system/applications from a local hard drive. A thin client runs these same things from a remote server. The Thick Net Client is a stand-alone readily useable in a network enterprise environment that may or may not need additional application installed to extend its capability but most of its apps are current, and run off the network. Think Net Client runs its application thru a centralized network so it requires only low-level the OS, browser application to meet its minimum specifications for operation.
