So, tempest Transient electromagnetic pulse Emanation surveillance technology.
So the idea behind behind Tempest is that, uh,
you know, computers, electrical devices, They're they're emanating some kind of, you know, they have some kind of electromagnetic emanations coming from them,
And the theory is that potentially a metaksa could
could use those emanations and in for, you know, use those toe to determine you know what kind of data is going across the wire or two? You know, in the case of, you know, like a monitor, use those toe kind of reconstruct the image on on a monitor.
If you think of, you know, just a very simple
example not by no means could go into a complex example. But, you know, very simple example will be if you have transmission's going over a wire, just thinking about, you know, just ones and zeros. And, you know, when one goes across the wire,
you know, there's a certain kind of electromagnetic pattern that it produces. And then when a zero goes across the wire, there's a different kind of electromagnetic magnetic pattern that produces the idea. There is that someone could potentially be, you know, gleaning those emanations and,
you know, use that to determine the actual data that's that's going across the wire and reconstruct,
you know, whatever's whatever is being sent. So so the idea behind Tempest is to have some kind of infrastructure in place to prevent those kind of kind of emanations from leaking out outside of the building or
outside of room, that kind of things to prevent,
you know, someone from being able to glean that information and potentially reconstruct something useful from it.
